The following procedure describes the basic installation workflow.
Use a fresh supported Linux installation. The commands should be executed by root or by a user with sudo privileges.

Download the BAF distribution to ~/install/installBAF/ and the PostgreSQL distribution to ~/install/installPostgre/.

Download the installer (obtained via the link after payment) to the target server.
Execute the installation procedure as root or using a sudo-enabled user, following the instructions provided with the package.
The installer is an installation tool and does not provide a BAF software licence. The customer must have the appropriate rights and licence for BAF. The BAF distribution is downloaded separately from the official BAS source.

Yes. The professional installation service includes remote installation of BAF and PostgreSQL, configuration of required services and dependencies, database creation according to the technical specification, Apache2 configuration for web access to BAF web applications on the same server, and basic verification.
Yes. Scheduled backups can be configured as an optional one-time service. The customer provides the destination FTP storage resource and credentials. Alternatively, we can perform this setup at the Hetzner data center using our own resources (*the FTP rental service incurs a fee).
